Image result for cloudsThe heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.     Psalm 19:1 (ESV)

We like to pick one thing each day to focus on:  stars, moon, clouds, sun, planets, sunrises/sunsets, weather

Here are some ideas to make watching the sky more exciting:

HOME FUN:  make a skyscape with construction paper and cotton balls, make a fort with a sky “roof” – use a dark blanket and put white Christmas lights over it, then lay under it and look at the stars, paint with glow-in-the-dark paint, read Goodnight Moon, make a sunshine “stained glass window” cutting a big circle out of a black piece of construction paper then covering the back with yellow tissue paper, play flashlight tag in the dark, talk about light and dark and day and night

OUTSIDE ADVENTURES:  look through a telescope at night together, lay on the grass and look for shapes in the clouds, go to a planetarium (Air Force Academy or Museum of Nature and Science)
